For some people, cold calling is a nuisance, for others, a story of success.

In which situations is cold calling the more viable option, or the only one?

And when should it be left for dead?

We've been visiting cold calling recently with a compelling offer, and finding it extremely difficult to get people past the cynical stage. What are you finding it takes to get people to accept that you are legitimate, and sincerely offering something of value?
